I just want to know if this is normal for a Jeep Grand CHerokee. Bought it in 2005. It's a 2003 model. It only had 30,000 miles on it when we bought it. In 2 months the air conditioner went out. Still under warranty. Made 4 different trips back to the new dodge/jeep dealer we bought it from. They said " That's just as strong as that air conditioner can be". It blew HOT air !!!! Finally took it to someone in town that works on cars and the knob/switch was broken where you turn it on inside. $250. About 1 year after that the Transmission goes out. LONG story short costed us about $1100 totall to get that fixed. Took 2 months carrying it to different places. About every few months some of the little white "vaccum hoses" busts loose and causes it get to really really bad gas mileage and ride rough and we have to FIND the vaccum leak and fix it. Then the Air goes out AGAIN. Now it only blows out the top where the defrost is and wont blow out the front vents. And it blows hot air. Cost us about $175 to get that fixed, parts and labor. Then the front seat brakes. The front seat wobbles all around and we looked up under it and part of the metal braces that hold the seat up is broke apart. Is all this normal. I know everything gets old but this thing was old when it was BUILT.
