I was just reading some of the other posts about concrete, materials, cost, etc. and thought I would post this. I just finished it a couple of weeks ago. It cost $1100 total. It is 18' x 7' with 3 pens. I used 65 bags of quickrete ( rented a mixer for $70) and mixed it all myself in about 2 to 3 hrs(A true workout). Concrete companies wanted to charge 5 yd min @ $78 p/yd. I will be building dog houses on the back of the pens about 1 ft. off of the ground so the dogs will have more space in the pens.
