Does anybody know what boxing a hound for unwanted game means or the process ? Thanks for any help.

I'm not sure about boxing but I've read several times where people would put a hound in a barrel with the hide of whatever off game it was chasing and then roll it down a hill. It's not something I'd recommend but people swore by it.
