walkers do make great cat hunting dogs. i'm not sure on black n tans hunting bobcat ( i hunt them on coon) i've heard b&t are alright on bobcat. now plotts they have a lot lot lot of grit! thats why so many use them on bear. plotts make good cat dogs. if i had my choice i'd go plott cuz i don't like walkers but walkers make real nice cat dogs! just tellin ya a little of what ik. thanks hope this helps

We'll I have two curs that will not stop on a lion. Have three walkers that will go all day on a lion got two plotted and a bloodhound. All will run lion and bear here in new Mexico.so to say a certain breed is for a certain track don't run here with me a dog has to have fun and enjoy it.
