I have a good young prospect. Just turned a year old. I cut her loose a few nights ago, she opened up and took off. Well after a few minute she pulled up to tree, located and then just quit. I went to her via garmin and she was just sitting next to the tree not making a sound. I got to checkin her out and noticed a large knot on hèr leg. First thought was snake bite but when I took her to the vet they said she had injured her knee somehow. Well my question is since this has happened she's filling better but hasn't barked since the injury. Not a peep. Any one ever experienced this?

I had a bluetick break his leg before jumping out of the truck. Took him to the vet and they did surgery on him and fixed it. He wouldn't bark for around two weeks after that happened. But he started up again. Best of luck

Not too bad. Still swelled and still not really barking. She whimpers instead of barks. Had a squirrel up a tree yesterday but never really barked treed. Just whined at it. I think she may be gettin a little better but still a little concerned about the barkin issue.

Her leg doesn't seem to be healing up. One day the fluid/swelling will be down then the next day it'll be bad again. She has damaged bursa sacks, anyone else ever had to treat one for this?

She's doing good. It took several months to heal but she's covering some ground now. They can get over injuries but it takes some TLC. I had to buy her a bed so she wouldn't put all of her weight on her legs when laying down.
