got a 2yr old male hound. seems to only tree boars. I've hunted this kill season and so far only on sow. and no kittens. only boars. is this because boars smell stronger. or something. anybody else have this to happen.

I was just talkn to a buddy and was telling him that we've only treed one sow in the last month or shot out one sow anyhow. The rest have all been boar coons. I belive they are rutting here and that's got a lot to do with it. We've been treeing some doubles here lately and I guess got lucky and shot the boars when we did shoot one out of the doubles

Oh man long chase of 250 to 1000 yards? Yall make me jealous i know i live in the wrong place. Come on down to central tx and i will show you ruttin coons. Good track dog will still take 3/4 to a mile track to tree one this time of year
