Well I've been taking mine almost every night with other dogs she will leave me for a bit but will come back but last night she left and came back and we led her to the tree the dogs were treeing on and she got on the tree and let out a big bawl so I'd take her with some good dogs

I've had her out with other dogs. She hunts, comes back after 25-30 minutes. When the other dogs are treed, she's always there, but she never barks on track and she's always running around the tree, she'll jump up on it and whine. Idk how to get her to bark. Barks like mad in the box.

Mine treed for the first time with another dog last night on first drop, it was a really hot track and made it 140 yards, not a hard tree but she knew it was up there. Couple more nights like that and she should take right off.

It was a hell of a rush and I will agree never hurts to get a taste of fur.... just not quite the way I expected it to happen.

On the next tree tie the pup back like the other dogs shoot out coon let the dogs loose not pup the pup should get excited enough to make some noise if not to young wait 1-2 months & try again patience is what i had to learn with coonhounds over bird dogs.

Let em bark at a couple caged coon to get em fired up.let them run as many released coon as it takes to get them opening on track, then have hot hot feeders just for your pups. Then the biggest trick-- Keep them in the woods. Once they are running hot feeder tracks move onto to turn outs with out a feeder. Feeders and caged coon are like shock collars great tools if used correctly. But over use of any can ruin a dog in a hurry.

the more you can make a dog want a coon the more you will see it do as far as going to find one, trying to follow the track and tree barking for it when it cant go farther on the track up the tree.
why would anyone want pup to tree because the other dog does?
i want it to tree because it wants the coon and it has worked the track out and decided for itself the coon is up there.
the pups above that are not tree barking is because they dont want the coon bad enough yet to bark, the one barking in the box wants out of the box bad enough to bark.

If she keeps coming back to u and not wanting to go hunting, put her back in the box and let her see/hear the other dogs go. Eventually she will get tired of being left out and want to go.
