It should be safe as long as the wormer you're using doesn't say it shouldn't be used on pregnant bitches.

yes it is safe, and it is recommended by our vet. if she has more than a month before delivery deworm her now and 1 month later. then deworm her and the pups at 2 weeks and the pups every 2 weeks until 8 weeks. opinions vary after that on how often to deworm. we do it everytime they get their dhlp and then once a month from then on.

Yes in fact it's a good idea.
Wormers have come a long ways. Pancur is pretty safe. They have a new version out that you can give your pups as soon as they come out. Not sold on that yet but it's out there.

I have a female that is bred and about a month along. I've heard that you should breed her while she is carrying the pups and it should worm the pups too? My question is what wormer do ya'll use for this? And how much? She is about a 55-60 pound dog.

The best wormer to use at that point is going to be a fenbendazole. Its used in your safe guard horse wormer its the only thing you can give her to kill all worms that puppies are born with. I recommend giving this to the her in two week intervals after the puppies are born. The puppies will get it thru her milk. And using the Nemex2 in 2 week intervals for the puppies. If you have any questions on dosing just ##*%* me a pm.
