Could be a swollen gland, could also b from an old case of mastitis.

If none of this works have the vet stick a needle in it. You wanna make sure it's not cancer!

Has she had pups recently? If it hurts her and she's had pups it is most likely mastitis (clogged and infected milk duct). You can attempt to get the clog to pass by milking if she'll let you and moist heat. An antibiotic will help get rid of the infection. If it does not hurt and she doesn't have milk it is something else, hopefully not cancer. One of our dogs had very irregular teats and was perfectly normal.

Lol. I don't think itl cost u anywhere close to 2000. My vet only charges 60 bucks for a diagnosis.

Give it some time with your treatment. All I was saying is taking the dog to the vet is the only sure way to know what it is if it doesn't get better. And I don't think any of us on here are rich, but what we also have to understand is when we own hounds we have a certain responsibility to thoses hounds. Sometimes that responsibly is having enough money aside to be able to properly care for that animal when its down.

Lol I'm not putting u down I guess what I'm tryin to get at it shouldn't be anywhere even near a thousand dollars. And it's your choice whether you want the vet to treat it or not. A diagnosis is all you need then you can treat it yourself. How can you treat something when you don't know for sure what's wrong? And if your vet charges thousands of dollars for a visit to diagnose a medical problem. I'd be looking for a different vet lol
