We also have a male that whines when the barker breakers on him, but once its removed he has no trouble barking. Can agree that a constant barker does not focus well. Have a couple pups that wear the breakers sometimes when needed and their necks do begin to get red so we remove them. As soon as we do they begin barking.

its called a switch. its not the breed of the dog its the way the handler lets the dog be. teach the dog who is the boss with a schock collar or give him a couple good taps on the but. and use one comand to tell him you mean biz. like quite or shut up or hay now thats what my dogs go by. dogs are like kids they will try and get away with anything till there told no.

i used the same thing on my dog. everynow and then when that didn't work i would move him out of his kennel and put him way up in the holler and let him bark his head off. i put him up there for about a week. he got tired of being by himself pretty quick. since then he only barks at weird things. recently, he was barkin he head off when i was in the house. i looked out side and there was a coon in the tree next to his kennel. needless to say i let him out and tadah! he got em. needless to say it may be a good thing for them to bark in their kennels.

I don't care if theres a coon in their bed with them, I don't want them barking. My barkers wear no bark collars all the time. 39.99 at cabelas and I've only changed the battery in one. I've had them all for over a year. Work great.

if theres a coon near them or in the area i think they should be barking.i came home from turkey hunting one morning and found my walker pups and mtn.fiest treeing two squirrels in one tree.other than that i want them quiet but if theres a coon around them they beter bark their fool heads off.one time my mtn.fiest hada pup and my aunt got it and she walked out one morning and he had treed two coon while on his chain.that dog dont get out much but hey he treed two coon off his chain

A piece of an old water hose about 2 to 3 foot long does wonders. It don't take to long for them to understand what hush means. I will let mine bark if someone is coming up the driveway, but if they are barking to be barking, well a couple of whacks and they get the point real quick. And you don't have to hit them hard. Wiffle ball bat works good to. Especially when they bark in a dog box going down the road.

Will the bark collar not translate over into the woods if you have a whole collar on your dog an wat the best way to keep the bark collar from rubbing
