Washington lost all big game hound hunting in 1996 and it has been a disaster for cougar and bear populations, The WDFW claims that Washington now has more bear per acer than any other state in the lower 48. And there are cougar every where. The mule deer populations have plummeted in the eastern cascades and the elk have been struggling as well.
I sure hope it passes but these thing rarely do.
