your pup makes 6 out of the 7 in that first litter that will tree a coon alone at or before one yr old. he looks good. to me it says alot when a man with one pup off mack will come for a 2nd one. alot of people have bought a 2nd mack pup after they saw what they liked in the first one................TC
hey T.C., Just wanted to let you know that Skinner is well on his way to making a bear dog. We just got back from hunting and we got two. Skinner was in on both. We treed two others that we let go. The last one we got my son shot on the ground bayed up, he had to wait for a shot because the dogs wouldnt back off. Skinner got bit in the shoulder but was still pulling hair when the bear was killed. He handles real well trees hard and sticks all day.

thats great, 6 out of the 7 pups in that first litter are making decent coon dogs and skinner a bear dog.macks pups are being successfully used on coon, bear and bobcats. I LOVE IT!!!!
thanks for the update.you know skinner was kind of special to me. i had kept skinner and boomer for myself.makes me happy to know he went to a good home and is being used for what he was bred to do.your post just made my day.
his brother boomer is becoming a nice coon dog. he has been accuratly treeing coon alone and becoming a split tree artist when hunted with other dogs........keep in touch........TC
Just wondering How old are some of the pups off mack and are they old enough to be put in the hunts yet? If they are would like to hear how they are doing. Thanks
