Here is my 10/22 coon hunter. The barrel is shortened and trigger is lighter. Gets the job done and is nice and light. Can hit them between the eyes at 50 yards if needed.

This is just a remintong .22. its made from a nylon material, looks plactic, but is holds up real good and i use it alot. i prefer the open sites for coonhunting. you can load 14 shells in it at once, 15 with one in the chamber, you just load em in the hole on the butt off the rifle. i like this type of load style alot, and i prefer the lever action over any other, especially semi auto.

Those model 66 nylons are actually worth some money now! Very popular item, Montana!

i got tired of shootin coons two or sometimes three times in the heart and head with a .22 so i bought a savage model 93 .17 hmr with ballistic tips. and now its a one shot one kill type deal. you can make a mistake and shoot them i the body and theyll still drop and be dead before they hit the ground.

I carry a Heritage Rough Rider with a .22 or .22mag cylinder

Image

My Brother generally brings his 20 gauge also incase we can't get a good shot with the .22
