Is Maggie By any chance a B and T? Reason I ask is.... I've been checking Webster's head out when I do his ears.... and I don't see anything either? I'm just wondering if this could be Breed related, inherited etc....???

Bloodhound, coonhound... apparentl;y it's a COLOR thing... like Blondes! LOL... so Watchout for redbones!or redbloodhounds.. Tempertemper...
Hounds ears.... they do require extra care. Alot of the ones that come into rescue...didn't get that... so they have lousy ears. I think if you keep them clean from the beginning it is MUCH easier.
AND... BTW I LOVE Bloodhounds... I adopted our first B and T coonhound.. by mistake...kindasorta... cause i wnet on line to look up info for a friend about bloodhounds... somehow I ended up on the amer. b and T coonhound rescue website.... and I had never Seen a B and T... I knew redbones and Walkers and One bluetick growing up.. so... one thing led to another ;)
And look where I AMNOW! LOL...
Enjoy your dumb old hound... they make for MUCH amusement when that dumb... Our B and T walks into things, off of things.... lol he'd die in a minute coonhunting! But his tail would be awaggin and he'd be having fun! LOL
Happy hunting! Heather

I'm no vet but I use mineral oil on there ears it helps with mites fleas tick everything. I started doing this along time ago on a tame rabbit I had as a kid and used to have to do an old Bassett I had also
