Hellow Most of you know me and to those who may not my name is William McMonigal jr. [ WILD WILLY ] My pasion is training dogs from Obiediance, to hunting, to whatever the mind can imagine !! I help train tons of dogs every week through the internet , over the phone and in person, with a near perfect sucsess rate !! and I never charge a dime to anyone and I always make time for all dog owners. As I train I study and learn new training tips every day, I train very difrently than most with simple comon sence methods, and with a few words I can prove that each and every tip will work before the owner uses them !!
My question
I am preparing to either wright a traing book or create a traing DVD.
Would their be much intrest in this and witch would people prefer a book or DVD ?
Coments welcome
!!!!!!WILD WILLY!!!!!!

I would get either one. It just depends on which one is cheaper or easier to get. AUSTIN CRUTCHFIELD

There's a few books already out there. a DVD would be a nice change-show people exactly what you're talking about.I'd buy it.I have a few books on training, and mix and match techniques as I figure out what does & doesn't work for me.By the way,I'd love to come up sometime & hunt with this Brussel dog I've heard so much about.

DVD, long as you hook me up. lol DVD is better i think because people may not understand what you are trying to say in a book, so you could show them on a dvd.

I would say dvd for some of the reasons stated above there are plenty of books out there and some describe things in a way where you can't get a visual picture on it especially if your new to the sport. My daughter is starting to train her own pup and is reading one of vicki lambs books. She doesn't understand some of it because she doesn't know what all the terms mean. So I kind of help her along but a visual would be great. Someone who has never done it before wouldn't know what you ment by some of the methods and some of the methods in any of the books are not clear. I would buy it.

I'd rather have a book for practical reasons. You can't stuff a dvd player in your back pocket and take it out in the field to look up training tips while you work your dog. If a problem comes up it is usually best to deal with it right away. Of course, the book has to have a lot of pictures to show what each step looks like and avoid confusion. Some people don't get as much from reading as they do from "seeing it in action". Why not offer both and leave it up to the customer which one they want?

a DVD is much easier for you to actually demonstrate what needs to be done.

DVD, I HAVE A SHORT ATTENTION SPAN CANT READ A SHORT STORY MOST TIMES. And give it some time and they will have DVD players U can put in your backpack and take with U. Walmart sells them to go in your vehicle already.

Do both. Some people learn better by reading and some learn better by watching. Either way, I'll buy one. One can never have too many resources to fall back on.
