Post subject:  Android App Isssues Registering

There is an issue with the Android App registering on the forum.

I have contacted the App developers concerning the issue.

There is a coding issue with a double http:// in the address.

Where it should be ucp.phpmode=register

It has the address as http://http://www.coondawgs.com/forum/u ... e=register

No new updates yet on the issue. I will keep you guys posted when I hear any news of it being fixed. Since we are not the app developer, you will need to contact them to complain of the app issues. I have already contacted them - if more people complain to them personally, better chance of this issue being resolved.

Here it is Feb 11th and apparently there has been no progress in this issue being resolved with the app developer Outside Hub.

Just fired off an email to 2 people at Outside Hub and will pass on what they say.

To the ones sending me gripe emails concerning the issue, we do not handle the app (as explained above). The app developer is the one you will need to contact and complain to.

Here is their email listed on the APP store pages where you downloaded the app: mobile@outdoorhub.com

Received an email reply back:

Quote:
It cannot be fixed without rolling a new version of the app which is not likely soon. We normally don't have many users who register from the app.

Folks, I apologize for this. When I signed up with Outside Hub, I did so expecting a working app and support would be provided for app bug issues.

From the tone of the app developer's email, it will not be fixed anytime soon and I get the impression that it doesn't seem to important to them. Again, please send your gripes to them instead of us by contacting them via the email above.
