Good evening everyone, I just picked up a blue tick from a guy and he said that the bloodline is out of (forgive my spelling) ochiwa said that bloodline is really good, said the mom flew out from North Carolina and the dad was from the south. Yea, I honestly think training the pups is the best part(to an extent lol) I have a walker that turns 1 year old next month, had him from a pup and this season will be his first true season, I ran him with a trainer dog at the tail end of last season, I didn't expect much he hung around the trainer and wouldn't cross ditches seemed like he doubted himself, so we'll see how he does this season. I've never trained pups but learning a lot from this site (thanks buckshot) my walker don't seem to interested in drags and I'm holding off on trapping a live coon, I'll just wait till the other trainer dog trees one, lol I maybe doing this training wrong but hey I'm learning

Training pups is easy when they have natural ability. Looks like your hound has he cross that made Rambo. What hounds are up close in the pedigree?

That guy could have showed me some bogus paperwork but whatever don't bother me, read somewhere that papers don't tree coons, I was workin my walker with the drag the other day and Levi (my bluetick pup) started following the trail a little bit, so I'll just work with him. My walk with wick book is suppose to come in on Monday so I'll just read up on that, hey thanks everyone for your comments I appreciate it, y'all have a good night
