After several years of hunting walkers I am wanting something new. I've never hunted with any blue dogs but want to try my luck at it. I've tried to look a little for myself and see people talking about the big name breeds like Utchman and Gascons being cold nosed pleasure dogs. Anybody have any suggestions on a dirt kicking fast competitive line of blues?

Thanks. I'm still torn between a blue or another walker cause I haven't been hunting for about a year and a half and know so little about blueticks I'm not sure if I'm getting in over my head.

I see your in Tennessee I am in East Tennessee I comp hunt my hounds and have won at a lot of major hunts. They are all Casey bred hounds witch go back to old hammer breeding. You are more than welcome to come for a hunt and see how they operate. I would be happy to help in any way possible . Cody Smith

Thanks for the offer but with college right now I don't have the time that a pup deserves. I'm just trying to learn as much as I can for when I get the chance

Try the Skuna river line, walkers that have the meat and can out trail a Bluetick, and are easier to train. Jmo
