Rat & Trackman (Nailor) both are well known for producing extreme treedogs many of which turn out to be slick treeing idiots. Rat crossed best on Clover dogs which are well known for producing tracking ability and balanced dogs.

If I were getting a pup out of Trackman or one of his direct sons (I've owned several) one side would have to be Coma, House, Wipeout or Clover to put tracking and balance into the cross.

What ya think about skuna river?

Skuna River dogs are Houses Lipper bred. Skuna River Bark was a very good trackdog better than Skuna River Fred in my opinion. Bark produced balanced dogs and was way under utilized as a stud dog.
