Most any breed can have cold nose & bawl mouth. You probably need to look more into particular lines of dogs. I had a Lone Pine bred Walker male that was very cold nosed & really drifted & bawled on track. I have 2 Plotts now out of 2 different lines & they both seem pretty cold nose compared to other breeds they've hunted with & one is bawl on track & tree & the other is chop mouthed all the way.

Cameron Blueticks from Del have cold noses and a nice bawl trailing that turns into a tremor bawl on when treed.

Breed don't matter to me...just love to listen to a hpund work a cold track and I love a bawl mouth over a chop (rare ain't it).

Got to agree...I Love listening to a bawl mouth hound work a cold track. My old B T was bawl mouth on track and a bawl/chop on tree. Lost him. Was one hellva' hound and miss him. My B T now is chop all the way. Still makes tingles up spine, but not like a good bawl mouth.

Any breed that trees a coon and has a good bawl mouth. first deside the breed you want because there are lines in all of them that are cold nosed and bawl mouthed. im not color blind to a good hound.
