I was at a comp hunt this last weekend and this gentleman had a world champ bluetick. He said it was an Arron's bred dog. Anybody have any info on this??

Was it a real American bluetick or a English bluetick cause there has never been a bluetick world champ I'm a bluetick owner myself and I've never heard of Aaron bred

Never heard of Aaron bred. Now guys we have had a world champ bluetick. I believe it was Hammer III that won the world hunt before it was known as the world hunt. Also Coz Sparetime Spanky won a AKC world hunt. I think that was back in 1994, might not have the year right. Now people say they have the world champ bluetick when they place highest for the breed. Nitech Hazel Hill Candy was female world champ bluetick for our breed in 1986.

That is true. But NKC has. And there have been several blue dogs in the final cast of both the UKC & PKC world.

Considering that TW out number the blue dogs about 25/1 that's not a bad ratio...

I would be interested in seeing the numbers or ratio of all breed as compared to Walkers. I asked UKC one time but never got an answer.

I'm talking American Bluetick as well. Blue River Droop won the NKC world in 1998.
