I have a walker female out of X jr and Bubba Shot the Juke Box. I want opinions on what you would cross her with. Ive got a Finley River male and a male out of Sackett Jr. Which would you pick and why?

which ever one is closest to her in having the same traits.
reason: i am breeding her because i want pups like her. the way to get them is breed her to a male with the same traits as her. the more the sire and dam are alike in traits the more pups per litter will have the same traits. no matter if they get it from the sire or the dam the traits they get will be the same traits.
if you're trying to get something she aint got into the pups, breed it to the male that has it, then pick which pups managed to get that desired trait. if any of them do get it..

She's a pretty hard tree dog and both males are more track than tree lol. So with that said ill probably go with my Finley River dog because he's got a crazy cold nose.

its not like mixing paint , orange and blue makes green or what ever. each and every pup will get a differant mix of traits. some will be orange, some will be blue and if you're lucky you may have one or two that is the desired green.
its the simple reason why alot of breedings produce maybe one or two nice dogs and the others mediocre or duds.
if the one male has the nose you want-go with that one,, but you will still have to sort through the pups to find the ones that got the traits you wanted from the female and also have the desired traits you tried to add from the male.
