I had a trackman female who was a very loud intense treedog, but not so good about having the meat, hence the word had. Ole South Stylish Rebel breeding has some loud mouths in it.

My walker pup is louder then both his parents and he's only 7-8 months old. I can hear him about a mile away though the woods.

Do you really need a dog that's real loud and obnoxious to listen to hunting and Treeing? Do you have to hear the dog five miles away? How do you like hunting alone because none of your buddies want to hear that one dog that hurts their ears at the tree. Especially when they can't enjoy their dogs and coon hunt too. Had a few of though and hated them. If I was deaf and wanted to hunt I guess I'd have to get one. If you hunt with one now you will go deaf. Can't stand'em!!!

The louder the better

If they have a good deep voice it don't hurt ur ears my hunting buddy has a female with a big mouth but it is a high pich yip if she didn't have the meat 99% of the time id hate hunting with her cause like u said it hurts my ears when u walk up on her treeing but her brother has as big of a mouth and he is deeper voiced love hunting with him
