Hey guys, i am new to this sport, actually i have never done it, but i am very interested in learning some of ya'll tips and tricks. i am in the process right now of finding me a good dog or two. i have a good bit of land to hunt that is full up with coons. No one around here hunts them, so that will leave more for me.

Went to Vicksburg last Saturday night enter a black-n-tan gyp I been huntin and won first place registered 350 plus points ! Long night but well worth the trip ! Those guys over there run a nice club , hats of Mel and everyone else over there ! Will definetly be back soon as she goes outta heat !

Grand cane la bout 15 minutes from shreveport...got a few gyps up here wouldnt mind someone to run them with in a few months

well boys looks like the heat is gone for a while, been doing my fair share of hunting and loving the weather, i guess the best thing is as far as down here, is the briars arn't so bad right now wheew had enough of them for a while and skeeters also. I was wondering if its the same every were deer hunting is the main game here as for me i dont [if you dont tree it dont eat it] !! seriousley !! theres probably been more corn put out around here to load a ship an most these ole coons an't traveling far from the deer feeders so you kinda have to turn loose close by are right on them as theres a deer stand every 200 yards round here.Now these ole deer hunters gripe an complain bout the coons eatin up all there corn but gripe more bout me huntin there food plots seems to me they'd be happy bout me killing them ole coons off there corn but they whine an say im running the deer off.Well just a thought if i run the deer off at night should'nt they come back in the morning so mr hunter can get a shot. Me personally i dont think them ole deer worry bout them dogs long as there not after them. UHHHH yea long as ? just a joke. any way thats just my thought of the day as i ponder life's way...
