I got a call from a buddy that works for the state on all game reserves. He told me that they will be having a meeting next Thursday in Baton Rouge to stop the use of dogs on Kisatchie national forrest. If this law passes there will be no hunting what so ever with a dog. Every one needs to call the wildlife and fisheries and file a complaint or the state repersenative. Kisatchie is a major place for coonhunting in Louisiana and it will hurt us if we lose it. Also u can call Brian Morrow at 318-623-3809, give him your name and number and he can give u more information. Thanks

Louisina Dog Hunters,

Kisatchie has proposed this in the past and it has failed. It isn't something any dog hunter should take lightly. We still need to contact and complain to as many gov. officials as we can. I dont know what good it will do to contact anyone , but I have sent a few emails to people (including Bobby Jindal) and the rest of us should also. If anyone does send emails, it will only be helpful if you do so in a descent manner. Do not degrade our gov. officials, use vulgar language, etc. because this only shows weak minds and surely will not have a positive impact on the situation.

I hope it doesnt pass!!!!!!! Kisatchie is a lil bit of a drive for me, but I had to start hunting there, due to our woods being destroyed from the hurricanes! If I cant hunt there, then I want have any place to hunt. Looks like I may have to sell out!
