I live between Anderson and Greenville...haven't done much hunting this summer though. Hopefully once it cools off I'll have time to get them out some more if I can get my fiance away from fishing and deer hunting LOL...he's falling down on the job as my coon hunting partner!

We hunt our deer dogs down near Orangeburg, and normally the coon dogs go down too. We've hunted them 3 or 4 times down there, and they didn't so much as strike a trail. They're fine up here, so I don't know what's going on with them down there...difference in the terrain maybe? We've turned loose in spots at the club that should be crawling with coons and they haven't treed once down there.

Im from Blair, in Fairfield county, but we do get to hunt some down around Columbia and Hopkins on occasion. Fom riding down the road you get the impression that its flat land, but i speak from experience when I say it is not. Those hills and hollers down there make ours look pathetic!
