I live in Hopkins County near Madisonville, I moved here just before the big ice storm last year. I tried hunting some during the spring and summer and had decided to get out of it because the woods were so rough to get through due to

all the downed timber. I went last night and treed 3 coons in about an hour and a half and it was still hard to get through, but not nearly as bad as I had thought it would be. All the undergrowth is much thicker when you have a lot of downed timber from what I understand and most of that is thinned out with the cooler weather. Boys, I've decided to tough it out!! I just ordered a new garmin astro 220 and I'm gonna hit the woods!!! If anyone in western ky area wants to go give me a call. I have two pretty nice old dogs. My dogs aren't junky or mean and I won't hunt them with anything that is rough (knowingly). My number is 270 619 5630.
