I know in Tennessee you can "train" your dogs on them, just can't harvest any game.

thanks, i meant train not actually hunt, but its all the same to the goat hill folk...

No, you can't train either on the WMA's during the closed season.

most of them, all of them that i know anything about in the south end of the state have gates and keep them locked out of season... but the rules give dates when you can and can NOT hunt..

They must really have a problem with poaching for them to not allow training off season. around here most state will allow you to take your dogs out and train them anytime, but you can't have any sort of firearm on your person when you do.

He is Correct. I found this out last month by a Warden at St.Clair WMA the hard way. The Gamewardens are ALOT Smarter than you and I. But me being the Typical 18y/o punk I never figured id get caught...and I hadent for 2 years. So now ive got some "CoonHuntin' Awards" to pay.... :roll:
