Hello, I'm new to the forum. I found a few posts asking the same questions that I have, but not many answers. I'm new to hunting with dogs. Kinda starting out the hardway with pups. I've got a female plott pup and a redbone/bluetick male. Both pups are roughly 12 weeks old. Currently, using training scents with treats and praise to start the training process. I would really like to find established hunters in the Central Florida area that is willing to let a newbie join in a few hunts. Hopefully, I and the pups can learn a few things! Please PM me if your willing to share your hunting knowledge with a newbie. Sincerely, Ryan |

Guys, Thanks for the reply... I live in Bartow, Fl. Halfway between Tampa and Orlando... Email me at CypherOrc@gmail.com I check this email more often... The pups have been out in the woods a few times this season. Unfortunately, the areas we hunted turned up unsuccessful. We had moderately fresh tracks... pups followed the scent.. just didn't know what they were following. It would be nice to connect with seasoned dogs to help train. Thanks Ryan |
