Here in Tuscaloosa. Looking for other local hunters to b.s., horsetrade, or go hunting sometime.

I used to be in good ole boys hunting club in berry a few years ago. Never did turn the dogs loose on the place. There are some huge mountains on that place. There are a lot of roads though that you van drive around to them.

I hear from a friend that there is several Coon Hunters in that club now? It's tough hunting when you got several trying to hunt the same property, but they do have about 8 or 9 thousand acres though. That is one of the very few clubs that will let you coon hunt during deer season. I coon hunt and deer hunt (sitting in shooting house as I write) and I have to say most deer hunters give us a bad rep, and they don't have a clue as to how these deer aren't disturbed by us being out there at night.

I live about 25 miles south of Tuscaloosa. We mainly hunt National Forest land but your welcome to hunt with us. We hunt blue dogs but not partial to any breed as long as they're not mean and will tree a coon.

When you say national forest, are you talking about oakmulgee? I have hunted there once. There were about 5 other people hunting there too that night. I would like to go back sometime though.

I was born and raised in those hills, of course the hunting was awesome before that hunting club took off. A lot has changed in the last 15 years or so. I dont know anyone in that club anymore
