I have mountain curs that I use on squirrels at Sandy Creek, they tree coons during the day time while squirrel hunting. It has a decent coon population there, as well as some of the creek bottoms throughout the rest of the Homochitta Forest. I know the area pretty well, if you have any other questions about it give me a call. 225-505-4386.......Todd Jackson

Thanks for the info. We just bought a camp in Sandy Creek and I've hunted some parts of the national forest, but I'm not really familiar with it. I guess when we get settled in our camp I'll give you a call.
