I believe that in Iowa you have the right to retrieve your dog if it gets off the property that you have permission to hunt on, as long as you don't have gun with you. Can any body tell me what code this is and how it reads. Or were on the Internet I could find it. Thanks.

i would check your iowa dnr website. its probably one of the best dnr sites ive seen. i get all the info and my out of state license there for rabbit hunting trips.
