I coon hunt out of mine, it is a Diahatsu Hijet. Mine has a 2" lift with atv tires, four wheel drive and differential lock both work great. Mine has push button four wheel drive. Full size dog box fits in the bed no problem. You can take it alot of places a truck can't go. Here in Ga they are legal if you get a vin number assigned so you can get a tag and insurance, however if you put a slow moving vehicle triangle on it it counts as farm equipment and you can drive it on the road without a tag within a 45 mile radius of your farm.

P.S. we have a couple of side by side on the farm we use in the summer time, but this time fo year we take the mini-truck. That bad boy has a heater that will run you out.

I've got a 95 Suzuki mini. Got small 4x4 tractor tires on it and I'm gonna tell that thing will flat out go through the mud. I coon hunt out of mine and its perfect. The heater in it will run you out. Don't get a side by side. To much money. Parts aren't that hard to find. But it's the best money I ever spent.
