what all would i need to drop the throttle body outa my truck and put a holley 503 on? my understanding on throttle body is that its esstially half carb and half fuel injection. mycousin said all i need is a carb adaptor. but i know that theres a difference in fuel line pressures between fuel injection and carb. would i have to put new fuel pumps in? also would i have to change ingition stuff? i plan on getting rid of all that smog crap too.
any ideas or personnel expeireces with this kind of thing would be awsome. thanks in advanced.

You need an intake and carb along with a new distributor and alot of rewiring. As far as I know Ford did not use a throttle body like Chevy did on a Ford there's more work involved.
