Part of the reasoning behind the Bumping and BTTing Policy being put in place was the type of bumping pictured below that caused your ad to be deleted. The policy is quite simple. We have put the breaks to that every couple hour/every day bumping nonsense on folks trying to keep their ads at the very top. Since Sep 2011 (before you were even a member) we put the rule in place where you need to wait to bump your ad until it leaves the first page. The rule was originally for the Hunting Equipment Classified section in 2007 but went classifieds wide in Sep 2011 (if you read the Bumping and BTTing Policy, it will give you a little history on that).
We have an excessive Bumping and BTT Policy on ads as the bumping and BTT has gotten out of hand. Instead of Bumping an ad before it leaves the first page, use the EDIT button to edit your ad to add additional info - IE; Pics, Phone #, Price, Litter Updates and ETC...
As you will see below, many different ways to find the Policy:

For those that do not like the Policy, we have a message in BOLD RED at the bottom of the Bumping and BTTing Policy.
We get your trying to sell a dog -- there is nearly 30,000 other members that are also trying to sell a dog too.
Folks have 3 choices for posting Ads on here:
1) Post their Free Ads and follow the forum rules.
2) Post their Free Ads elsewhere
3) Pay $5 for a 45 day Premium Ad to be Stickied to the top of the Classified section so their Ad is at top (which is why they are bumping their ads on the first place)
