Yes you can respond to a question in an ad without it being a bump.

BUT, you made a response post yesterday and bumped the thread back up again today -- there was not any post after yours yesterday therefore you should have editted your post from yesterday to add info instead of bumping the ad.

If the ad has not left the first page, do not bump the ad.

If you read the thread I mentioned, it shows that a bump does not have to be a BTT. It shows examples of what is bumping.

BTT means Back To Top and some people post a BTT to bring a thread up.

That is why the thread is titled with BTT/Bumping as the / is means to show that there is two and the / is the divider such as the wording of and/or is used to separate 2 things that are common.

I am going to remove the / and replace with &.

i did not edit because most people scroll through the post and look at the dates something was posted before they click on it, and if they seen it was the same date as they already looked at then probably would not waste their time clicking on it because they figured they already read it not knowing that it was edited, i know what you are saying because it could get out of hand i think most people would not let it get that way
thanks for the reply

It has already gotten out of hand and that is why something is being done about it.

You realize that you can edit not only the post but the subject line as well to say UPDATED or NEW INFO or Whatever to show the thread as been updated?
