caught one coon came out when carrying it and fight was on. beagles coon dawgs and coon taking from four wheeler to truck at house. wired together with rabbit hut clips had no probs holding them. now can't catch one now think adjusting trigger needs shorting on mine, not had time to tinker with it. Like most of the time get what you pay for. cheap have to make it work. like an old truck. Poor people have poor ways LOL. or learn to fix things!

the tractor supply traps do fine, theyre not real heavy so youll need to put somethin on top of it. the only problem mine had was a part that held the door up broke off, but i fixed pretty easy

Just bought one from tractor supply to catch one to train my pup with. Was curious how long can a coon live in a trap. How often do u check the traps. Thanks

I have the set and have had no functional problems with either...they are lightweight and the last coon i caught in my large one bent the pan up a bit but it was an easy fix...both are provencoon catchers in my book!!

I have a couple TS traps never had a problem i also have a couple from harbor freight but had to reinforce them a little not much. both are worth the $$ i paid for them. i check box traps 1 time in 24 hours and 2 times in 24 hours if its hot out. leg holds always get checked 2 times in 24 hours
