I have two of them and have caught pleanty of coon of all sizes. The locking clip on one broke off right away, but there is still enough tension to keep the door shut on a coon. I have had several people tell me that they are junk, and then you come to find out, they have never even used one. Hope this helps a little.

i bought one tonight. the large cage looks very good an when i tested the trip it was very good. it was light but still had good tension.. the little cage requires a little more pressure but its really not that bad.. so far so good.. well see how good they are in a few days thanks for the help guys.

Me and my friends use tractor supply traps and we have never had any problems with em. Other than one time the coon chewed through the trap but thats about it.

I use tractor supply traps and agri supply traps. The ones from agri supply are a lot bigger and it has a clip at the end that locks down at the end of the trap. The mechanism a lil slower though but its not so slow that the coon is going to get out.

man i bet that sure was one bad coon to chew through those things. lol. i have seen those form the agri store and like those they are a little slower. the coon is quick but not quick enough to turn itself around and get out before it closes. but for the price tractor supply is the way to go. and now days those things are poping up everywhere. which equals no shipping costs.

have any of yall caught anyhting in the smaller cage that comes in the combo pack?
