I got a coon in my live trap this morning, I use it for other varmits, but the coon got in it this morning and he tore the hell out of it. I got it at race brothers, and it looked like a good trap to me, but that small size coon tore thru the trap door. I went out ( cause the noise woke me up ) at 4:45c and tried to let him out the door, but he had such a whole made in the door that he ran out it. The hole was too small for anything to fit thru, but way too big for a new trap to have. What kind of trap do you guys use ???

I use a Pide Piper and a heavy duty one that come from Cabelas. Nothing has tore out of them. Yet.

thanks guy, I don`t need a coon for training, but resuppling my hunt area was sounding like a good idea untill this little coon tore out of my trap. I`ll take a look at those from cabela`s. Thanks.

I get mine from the guy at Autumn Oaks...Most LIVE traps if used long enough will need repairs..Coon that have been caught before do the most damage to live traps..Most coon that has never been caught before just lay there....
