ive been trying to catch a coon for one of my dogs for about 6 months but for some reason they just arent moving or something, id like to know if im doing somwthing wrong or theyre just not moving. im just leaveing my live traps out with sardines far as i know im doing everyhting right

Is there a lot of coon sign where u are putting your sets? Make sure you set ur traps on fresh sign. If the coons aren't there you can't trap em'.

well i appreciate the advice but ive tried everything i put my sets on FRESH sign every time i caught one in a steel trap but for somereason theyre too good for my live traps ive used every bait imaginable thanks tho im from bryan county ga

Take a black trashbag and put the trap in it and put a honey bun in there and you should catch one that's how I always catch one

Ill take my trap down close to where my feeder bucket is and put sardines in Kt and the next day i usually have a coon. I'm from Georgia also. Around statesboro

If you have had a trap set for 6 months and still nothing. Either there are no coon there or u are doin something wrong. A coon is one of the most simple animals to catch
