I decided im going to run a pretty big trap line on a creek this winter, but in the past ive only run about 10 traps total. I was wondering what all i need to get to get started like what traps, stretchers, boards, ect....
Thanks

What you trapping for? Can never go wrong with 110, 120, 1 1/2 coil springs. All depends how big, deep, activity of what fur.

If your going for coon i suggest the duke dp using marshmallows and a fish based bait and just set them down the banks. They are just so much easier and faster to set and in my opinion catch just as many or more than other types of traps. Just set em and get ready to start skinning.

I would get some small foot holds and 110s for muskrat and mink and 220s for bucket sets on the bank and on logs that go across the creek take a hatchet and make a bed in the log for the trap and put a 1 1/2 coil spring in there with leaves over the top to hide it and both of those will work for coons
