Is there any benifit to buying a $30 tail stripper vs a $8 one and just exactly how do you use em.

i just use 2 nails put 1 on each side of tail and pull. i have never had any trouble like this been doing it for years.

get you a flat piece steel 4" wide 5 " long bolt it to a work table, cut a V in it, put tail in V pull or use two bolts [like he said about nails] or buy a plastic one under 5 bucks.

Just use the clip for a hitch pin cost is about 30 cents when you are done you can clip it back on your belt and be ready for the next one.

the woods is full or tail strippers.. i just use 2 green limbs one on each side of the tail. grip the strippers with the tail positioned in between ur middle and ring finger and yank the stripper one way and the base of the tail another way..

I just skin tail half way down then grab around bone firmly and pull. Rarely mess up but fur buyers don't care about tails too much anyways

use 2 screw drivers put one one each side and grab the handles with one hand and the ends with other and pull

i use my dog lead to pull them dont matter if done in woods or at home always comes out, just loop chane throgh ring put on tail bone and pull hide off. real easy way. oh i pull tail down about a inch and cut it off and pull it after hide is off.
