The coons were not very active this winter, my live and leghold traps were always empty, I started looking at the den trees where i trapped, and set a snare in one and got 5 in a week out of one tree, have any of you guys trapped like this before, because nobody has around here.

You can snare anything in SD as long as you got a deer stop and the trap is still on the ground I just find trees that have a hole close to the ground and set the snare in the tree itself,

We can't snare in my area, I usually blind set 220s on the trails to the dens. It quite effective.
