Is it possible for a trapped coon to pull the bars of the trap 3 to 4 inches inside the trap to get out? I checked my trap and it was set off but some of the bars were pulled to the inside. I think it looks like someone kicked them in myself but i don't know who would have done it.

would it be worth trying to bend back into shape or would i just be better off getting a new trap.

just fix it urself. mine has a 3 inch hole on both sides in the back from coons tryin to git out. i finaly put sheet metal on mine. i got tired of the coons pull sticks and mud into it. my trap has been through hell and back lol
