lots Of THEM ,MAKE A 10 INCH CIRCLE,notice how a yote walks,hang it in a path you think he travels put weed s or sticks on each side so he will go in it,weeds kind of camo 's the snare. I used a 7/32 wire.if he don't get one leg in it he will most time choke his self to death ,where a dog will just lay down and wait on you.thinks he is tied.

arkansas frog you most have some tame dogs. Because if a dogs never been on a chain before a snare will kill him in a heartbeat. I use 3/32 aircraft cable. With deer stops so if i do catch a dog hes still alive. Ive even pen pointed wild cur hounds that were running cattle and other livestock. I snared them and everyone was alive and you talk about mean them suckers would run at you top speed and slam the snare.

7/32 is a little big isnt it. and one thing you got to keep in mind you can over crowd a coyote. I snare an average of 75 a year In i never get to serious average prob dozen snares out.

we sold yotes to the live market so we didn't use to many snares mostly #2 Bridgers.if he killed himself he was not much good to us.
