missou98,
Bobcats hunt with their eyes not their nose. My best cat bait is a dead chicken. Hang a dead chicken, pigeon, or guinea, upside down from a low bush, with the head about 4 1/2 feet off the ground. Wire his feet good to the bush and set 2-3 traps under him, where the cat will go between the limbs to get at the bait. Feathers everywhere and your cat will not pass up a set up like this one.

Jack knife, the trouble with a set like that every thing will beat the bob cat to it, yote, fox red and gray, feathers hanging makes good attractor then put in a dirt set near by.
