I don't know if you all can get one for off season hunting but up here in Ontario Canada for off season i can get a chase/training license for me to run coon at night fox coyote and wolf during the day i get it from the ministry of natural resources they are like your DNR, its free for a licensed coon hunter to get! Oh ya and up here we have to buy a coon license to hunt at night with a flash light (its the only night hunting we can do ) but only with a licensed dog !

Its to cold and to much snow up here in the winter thats my only off time but I try to road them some or I will tie them out some where away from their house and close enough to the other dogs so they can screw around for a few hours
