I have a 10x10 kennel split in half for my two dogs. I am moving it in a couple of weeks. I am pouring a new concrete slab and wanted to put a couple of 55 gallon drums in the ground for septic tanks. Is this going to be good enough for the 2 dogs? Any websites I can go to to get info on how to make the septic tank? Thanks Craig.

my kennel is 40 feet long and is split up into 8 5x10 kennels. We have sections at the back of the kennel that is about 1 to 2 inches below the cement and there is a drain in the little section with cement poured around it.We have 4 55 gallon drums in the ground behind the pen and behind the dog houses. One set of four pens drains connect together and go into 2 of the drums. And the other set of four do the same. All the drums have holes drilled into then and the waste goes into a pit beside the drums. Each drum also has a pipe running out of it into the pit beside it.The pit is down way lower than the drums so it has alot of room for waste.the drums are about 3-4 feet below the ground maybe a little lower and are covered up.Just thought i would let ya know how ours is built.I will try to get pics of our kennel.Jacob Prince
