i've been planning to build a kennel for my two outside dogs. i was down to the drawing up the plans stages when i got this idea. i might be moving soon and i felt selfish for spendinng so much money on a hobby. it occured to me that i can just build a yardbarn/shed, without walls and if i ever move or get out of hunting, i can easily convert the kennel to a storge building. i'll use 5/4 decking for the floor, pressure treated lumber on the band, floor joistes and studs, and just leave out most of the studs and put chainlink fencing around it. i can even put in exterior door for a gate. i feel better about this. now my wife can complain about all the money i'm spending on myself.
