Alright guys this isn't really a kennel constuction issue, but it is kennel related. I have a 10x10 pen on top of a wooden platform with 1x6 decking. The problem I am having is my 6 month old Walker pup is pooing right in the door and then he steps in it when he eats. He compacts it enough to where i have to scrape it off with a 2x4. This wouldnt bother me too much if it was toward the back of the kennel, but it is right up front where i have to walk through to get in. Is there any way to keep him from doing this?

If he is pooping in the door and then stepping in it when he eats, then perhaps move the food bowl to solve the issue of him stepping in the poop when he is eating.

He is a still pup so he may outgrow it and get some kennel manners.......but some dogs just don't outgrow it and poop and pee wherever.

I have moved his food bowl to where he has been pooping. It hasn't been moved long enough to tell if it has worked though. Thanks for the reply.

I had one that liked to poop on top of his dog box. He would climb on top of the box and poop on it. Dumb dogs .
